The main goal of mixing is to convey the best of your track and make your tracks sound as good as possible. This process is accomplished through the use of panning, EQ, reverb, delay, compression, cleaning up, balancing and decorrelation, among other methods.
Achieving an excellent mix is reasonably straightforward, but it requires critical listing and years of experience. We have access to the latest audio technology in post-production and a series of outboard gear. However, that doesn’t mean we have to use it all. Sometimes less is more. With our experience and working with you, we will base your mix on your artistic and creative vision and will take your music to a whole new level. At Spatial Mastering, we will let your mix breath and gleam.
The final mix of your tracks is processed in our state of art studios in London. It is crafted by our engineers with 40 years of combined experience in the field. We use the correct balance between digital plugins and analogue hardware.
Digital mastering will increase the perceived loudness in your tracks, and we will take into consideration the loudness. However, you may prefer the focus on clarity, headroom, balance and giving more punch to your tracks.
Each track has different characteristics and identity. We will master your track digitally, and apply on an individual basis as required; multi-band compression, subtractive equalisation, distortion and harmonic generation, frequency enhancement and equalisation, compression, stereo imaging, limiting and metering.
Digital mastering is a complex process that involves a series of variables. With our experience, we can achieve the results that you expect and have your track ready to be streamed, gigged in live events, club sound systems and played across all the media players available on planet earth and elsewhere!
